Entrance Colors

Entrance supports a rich color model, including the colors from the Tango Desktop Color Palette you see above. Here are eight shades of gray:

Specify colors by their names or by their RGB value, eg. RGB(255,0,0). Here are the possible color names: RED, GREEN, BLUE, YELLOW, CYAN, MAGENTA, WHITE, LIGHTGRAY,GRAY, DARKGRAY,BLACK, BUTTER, ORANGE, CHOCOLATE, CHAMELEON, SKYBLUE, PLUM, SCARLETRED, ALUMINUM, CHARCOAL, RGB(r,g,b), RGB(r,g,b,a).

Entrance makes it easy to name shades of color using the modifiers: VERY LIGHT, LIGHT, DARK, and VERY DARK. Generally speaking, the light colors work best for filled objects like BARS and PIESLICES, while fully saturated colors work best for thin objects like LINES and sparklines.

You can also make a color TRANSPARENT or VERY TRANSPARENT or fine tune its transparency using RGBA().

RGB() makes it possible to use colors you find in Wikipedia or in books like Slide:ology.

To specify a chart series color, place the color you want before the series:
    RED AREA
    LIGHT BLUE TRIANGLE AND LINE
    DARK CHOCOLATE BARS
    SKYBLUE WHENLINES

To change the foreground and background colors, place the color after the element you want to change. For example, this will mimic the old fashioned look of a certain spreadsheet:
  FOREGROUND BLACK
  BACKGROUND WHITE
  FRAMECOLOR LIGHT GRAY

FOREGROUND color applies to all of the text and the axes.
